What happens to redundant oil tanks?

How to know if your Tank is redundant?

Properly installed, well maintained tanks should have a lifespan of around 20 years. If your tank is older than that, or you have recently moved to a new house and inherited a tank from the previous owner we highly recommend having a certified technician check your tank to make sure it is working correctly and will still be able to do the job needed.

If you check your tank regularly and have a professional inspection annually it shouldn’t be too difficult to determine if your tank is on its last legs. If it is beginning to look discoloured or damaged in anyway or even worse has started to display signs of internal leaks, it is time to trade it for a new tank. • Aga Cooker Fuel – As the name suggest this is a specialist heating oil designed for use in Aga Cookers, it has an improved ‘Burn Quality’ when compared to normal Heating oil.
